    Sr. Drilling Dynamics Engineer

    Dec 2013 – July 2015

     

     

    Involved in high profile PTEC projects, D&M Shock and Vibration reduction issues, and failure investigation related to drilling dynamics.

    My responsibility covered to provide support and solution to drilling dynamics issues using IDEAS platform a Linux base 4-D FEA program.

    This involved providing optimized BHA solutions along with advised parameter sensitivity based on well objectives and drilling complexity such as ERDs, HEWD, SR wells, RSS and VortreX BHA, effective MWD/LWD tools placement etc.

    I was further responsible to train and educate D&M engineers to optimize their BHAs during planning and execution phase using IAXX (an automated IDEAS request platform for day to day operations) and selection of best configuration based on technology in hand and within operational limitation.

    Sr. Sales Account for Iraq 

    Nov 2010 – Dec 2013

     

    • My main account was IPM, National and International Oil & Gas Operating companies (except for Chinese N/IOCs) in Middle and Southern regions of Iraq.
    • I successfully increased the IBT from <10% to > 25% during the course of the assignment for IPM related projects.
    • I was responsible and focal point for B&AT for inter-company synergy business with IPM and D&M.
    • I achieved from 5% to 100% synergy within record time of less than a year with SLB drilling segments particularly with IPM.
    • I designed bases for business synergy from segment perspective along with its successful execution.
    • Successfully established a strong foot hold and captured > 55% MS with bp ROO (one of the biggest operators in South Iraq) for its independent operations.

    • Responsible for inventory management for the projects and supply chain management for JIT availability of products in Iraq.
    • Focal point for product development and cost reduction for accounts I covered.
    • Focal point for technical proposal and solutions for NT1 and NT5 products for different projects.

    • Decision on terms and conditions and orchestrating with relevant support departments for timely execution and submission of the tenders and queries.
